The spouse/guest registration includes breakfast, admission to the Exhibition, the Friday Exhibit Hall Lunch, the Friday afternoon Chicago Cubs game, the Saturday closing general session and brunch and your spouse or guest’s choice of two of the
following tours.
Indulge in Northside and the Loop
Spouses and guests will take a guided tour of Chicago’s best sights in the popular neighborhoods of the Loop and Northside. They will travel through historic State Street and Wacker Drive while taking in such sights as Pablo Picasso’s sculpture in Daly Plaza and the Wrigley Building. They will take a trip up the Magnificent Mile and then tour Lincoln Park, including Wrigley Field and Lakeview. They will then have lunch at the world famous Gino’s East, acclaimed by locals as “the best deep dish pizza.” They will then wrap up the day with a visit to the John Hancock Observatory where they will enjoy magnificent views of the city.
Southside Excursion and Architecture Cruise
This tour combines the best of Chicago’s near south and south sides along with an awe inspiring tour of Chicago's grand lakefront. Your spouse and guests will see some of Chicago’s most celebrated attractions including; Millennium Park, Grant Park, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Hyde Park, Kenwood Park, Jackson Park and the University of Chicago. They will enjoy lunch at Chicago’s oldest and most legendary restaurant, Berghoff’s, founded in 1887. After lunch, spouses and guests will sit back, relax and enjoy a cruise that will showcase Chicago's world renowned city architecture.
Experience Frank Lloyd Wright
Your spouse and guests will experience an inspiring tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s acclaimed architecture including a walk-through guided tour of his famous home and studio. Then they will enjoy lunch at Café Winberie, a classically styled bistro. After lunch, they will pass the Hemingway House and tour Unity Temple, one of America’s most endangered places where years of water infiltration have compromised the amazing structure.
Explore the Baha’i Temple and Chicago Botanic Garden
This tour will lift your spouse/guest’s spirits as they explore the Baha’I Temple and the picturesque Chicago Botanic Garden. Then they will enjoy lunch at the Botanic Garden’s Garden Buffet followed by a narrated tram tour through the 300 acres of landscaped beauty. To finish up, they will take a walk around the Coast Guard Station and Gillson Park.
